This year has been a great year for movie lovers. It has been blockbuster one after another. This upcoming fall there are a lot of amazing movies that everyone is excited about. As the year draws to a close, there are still a lot of great movies on the lineup that everyone is pretty hyped about. So just in case you guys don't know what are the movies coming up then you are just in luck because we are making a list of all the movies that you should be excited about.
Blade Runner 2049 - October 6
The sequel to the neo-noir science fiction masterpiece, Blade Runner film from 1982 directed by Ridley Scott. Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford who is reprising his role as Rick Deckard, and is directed by Denis Villeneuve. They have not released a lot of details about the plot but what we do know is that, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) is a new blade runner who has discovered a very dark secret that could end in a great catastrophe, which leads him to meet former blade runner, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who disappeared without a trace 30 years ago. The film will be showing on October 7, which is just a few days from now. We can't wait!
Thor: Ragnarok - November 3
Superhero movies is the most popular types of movies these days, and Marvel is one of the biggest names in the industry. Either you're a Marvel or a DC fan, Thor: Ragnarok is something to be excited about if you are a comic book fan in general. If you've seen the trailers then you know that the film is full of awesome actions scenes, stunning visuals, and hilarious moments. The film is full of big A-list stars such as Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster and many more.
Justice League - November 17
Everybody loves superhero movies. Justice League is DC's answer to Thor: Ragnarok, and no matter you're a DC or a Marvel fan, you just can't help but get excited about it. Some of the recent DC films haven't been doing so good with the exception of Wonder Woman. The film will be now directed by Joss Whedon when Zack Snyder stepped down. Based on the trailers, we could expect that Justice League would be a great hit that everyone will enjoy to watch. This movie is very important for Warner Bros. and DC films, since it will set the tone for future films in the franchise.
The Disaster Artist - December 1
The Room is dubbed as one of the worst films in history and even sometimes referred to as the Citizen Kane of terrible movies. The Disaster Artist, on the other hand, is a hilarious film about the making of The Room. It depicts the meeting and friendship of Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau and the making of the infamously terrible film The Room. This may seem like an idiotic film, but frankly, it is and that's one of the things that makes it funny. It stars James Franco as Tommy Wiseau, Dave Franco as Greg Sestero, alongside other big-name stars in supporting roles.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi - December 15
The newest film in the highly-successful Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley as Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, and many more. The plot of the film hasn't been announced yet, but it will certainly be one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 2017. The film is the last film that Carrie Fisher has worked on before passing away on December 27, 2016.
